Better Intimidation was a mod I released over two years ago. The initial goal of the mod was to make intimidation options much nastier; however, I feel that it has not aged well over these past couple of years, and since this mod has been getting a resurgence of attention lately, I have finally decided to give it some of my own attention. I have gone through this mod in SSE Edit and re-written the entire mod from the ground-up.

What does this mod do?

I went through nearly every intimidation option in the game and re-wrote them because I felt that the vanilla lines were a bit lacking. There are some lines I left alone, but other than those, this mod should cover all of the intimidation options.

So, what is new?

Lines are less edgy now, and the dialogue contains far less vulgarity, instead relying on actual threats.

I have extended the lines of dialogue that this mod covers beyond the initial character limit, allowing for more verbose player dialogue.

The old version of the mod changed some player dialogue outside of intimidation options; version 2 now only touches intimidation dialogue. In retrospect, this mod should have never touched upon dialogue outside of intimidation, as this mod is one that is branded as an overhaul for intimidation, so I have fixed that issue.

Some of the lines have remained roughly the same, but even those have had a revamp in order to make their quality on par with the rest of the dialogue. Everything has been rewritten. Feel free to give suggestions if you think a line needs to be replaced.

Compatibility

This mod is compatible with everything that adds new dialogue to the existing branches (I have tested this myself.) It will, however, conflict with mods that overhaul player intimidation options. If there is a mod that does so, and you wish to use my intimidation lines and the other mod's lines for the rest of your dialogue, load this mod after the other in your load order.

-I liked the really shitty, edgy dialogue from the last version! Can I still get that version?

-What happened to the cleaner version?

It is no longer being supported, as I do not think that it is necessary anymore. This update to the mod is more within the scope of that version already.
