📋 About This Mod

Adds a new weapon to the game: Bandit's Knife.

This is my all-time favourite weapon in Dark Souls, so I simply had to bring it to Skyrim. The Bandit's Knife is a dagger that has innate bleed damage, just like its Dark Souls counterpart. The bleed damage only affects enemies that can bleed. The weapon can be enchanted as well without losing the bleed effect.

The weapon starts to appear in game after reaching level 10. It is sometimes used by enemies and sold by merchants. The weapon is injected into leveled lists with a script. It can also be crafted at a forge (requires 'Steel Smithing' perk).

Bandit's Knife stats:

  • []Base damage: 8 (+8 bleeding damage)

    []Weight: 3

    []Reach: 0. 6

    []Speed: 1. 2

🤖 AI-enhanced — based on mod data

Adds the Bandit's Knife from Dark Souls III to Skyrim as a craftable dagger with innate bleed damage. It appears in leveled lists after level 10, can be enchanted, and requires the Steel Smithing perk to forge. A niche weapon mod for fans of the original.

✨ Key Features

Adds the Bandit's Knife, a dagger with innate bleed damage (8 base + 8 bleeding).
Weapon appears in leveled lists after reaching level 10, used by enemies and sold by merchants.
Can be crafted at a forge with the Steel Smithing perk.
Enchantable without losing the bleed effect.
Bleed damage only affects enemies that can bleed.

📊 Pros & Cons

✅ Pros

  • Faithful port of a beloved Dark Souls weapon, complete with bleed mechanic.
  • Integrates into the world naturally via leveled lists and merchants (173 endorsements).
  • Enchantable without sacrificing the bleed effect, so you can customize it.

⚠️ Cons

  • Only one weapon added—if you want a full weapon pack, this isn't it.
  • Bleed damage is situational; useless against undead, automatons, and other non-bleeding foes.
  • Requires level 10 to start appearing, so low-level characters won't see it early.
🎯 Is This For You?
For Dark Souls fans who want a piece of Lordran in Skyrim, especially those who love daggers and bleed builds. Also for players who enjoy discovering new weapons through exploration and merchants. Skip if you're looking for a major content overhaul or high-damage weapons—this is a niche, flavorful addition.
📦 Install:Easy· Under 1 minute

💡 Beginner Tips

  • Since the weapon is injected via script, it may take a few in-game days for merchants to stock it—check back regularly.
  • To craft it early, you'll need the Steel Smithing perk, so plan your perk points if you want it before level 10.
  • Bleed damage stacks with other bleed effects, so pair it with poisons or other bleed weapons for extra damage.
