About the Mod
My Dawnguard Crossbow Overhaul provides detailed and lore friendly retextures and recolours of Dawnguard DLC's crossbows, bolts and quivers.
I will provide several new texture variants for the standard and Dwarven crossbow so stay tuned and track this mod for updates if you are interested in my work.
Version 1. 0 :
It includes a highly detailed retexture and recolour of the Dwarven crossbow, bolt and quiver which enhances this formidable weapon with tempered steel parts and works out the little details of this fantastic model. Its colour scheme fits well with Cabal's fantastic amb Dwarven set.
If you use an ENB configuration with reflections enabled you can enhance its metallic shimmer even further.
Version 2. 3 :
This version adds my main edition of the Steel crossbow, bolt and quiver which features new detailed wood textures and shiny silver inlays on the decorative metal parts.
Version 2. 2 :
Version 2. 2 introduces my first themed variant "Vampire's Bane" with black wood and silverized metal. A fitting quiver and silver bolts are included too. I think this version is a good fit for a Demon Hunter, Assassin, Nightingale or even a Vampire.

All textures have been thoroughly compressed and are at about the size of the Beth HD DLC textures for maximum compatibility and performance.
About the looks of it images can say more than thousand words of mine - especially since I had the honour to be able to get some of the greatest screenarchers on the Nexus as beta testers for my work. Requirements
Skyrim 1. 8+ is required for this mod to work as well as the Dawnguard DLC. As a pure texture replacer this contains no ESP file.
Installation
Download the mod file and extract the file into your skyrim directory, e.g. C:Program Files (x86)SteamSteamAppscommonskyrimData and say "yes" when being asked to integrate and override.
Un-installation
Delete the file via NMM or manually by deleting the files contained in the mod folder within your Skyrim "Textures" folder.
