Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2 Vortex Extension

This extension adds Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine 2 modding support to Vortex Mod Manager.

Since Patch 7. 0, mods will only work with hardlinks, so symlinks have been disabled. You must have the game and the staging folder on the same drive to use the extension.

🛠️ Mod Installation Notes:

• []Installs .pak mods to "client_pc/root/mods" folder. Sorts mods in the Load Order tab and writes them to "pak_config.yaml".[/]

  []Installs "loose" file mods to "client_pc/root/local". [/]

  []Installs mods intended for the root game folder ("client_pc" or "server_pc" folder in zip). [/]

  []Fallback installer goes to game's "shipping" executable location (upscalers, reshades, DLL mods, etc).[/]

  []Includes installers and download buttons for the following tools: Custom Stratagems, Integration Studio, Index V2[/]

📋Usage Notes:

• []You can open multiple useful folders using the buttons within the folder icon on the Mods toolbar. [/]

  []If you use Integration Studio to make mods, note that you must Reinstall the Integration Studio mod in Vortex after each game update to refresh the files extracted from default_other.pak files.[/]

  []You can download tools for modding SM2 using the buttons shown below.[/]

  []Save (profile) backups happen automatically when purging mods (for vanilla online play). You can restore your most recent modded save (profile) files at any time using the button shown below.[/]
