Warhammer 40K Rogue Trader Vortex Extension

This extension adds Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader modding support to Vortex Mod Manager.

This extension will automatically download and install the MicroPatches mod. This is required to fix bugs in the game's built-in mod manager. You will also receive notifications when new versions are available to download.

Includes Load Order support for Owlcat mods! Mod names are written to the "OwlcatModificationManagerSettings.json" file automatically!

  🛠️ Mod Installation Notes:

  • []All mods are installed within "%userprofile%\AppData\LocalLow\Owlcat Games\Warhammer 40000 Rogue Trader" and its subfolders.[/]

    []Installs Owlcat mods with "OwlcatModificationManifest.json" file and "Assemblies/BluePrints/Bundles/Localization" folders to individual subfolders in "...\Modifications". Includes Load Order support! Mod names are written to the "OwlcatModificationManagerSettings.json" file automatically![/]

    []Installs UMM .dll plugins to "...\UnityModManager" within individual subfolders. The MicroPatches mod is also installed here.[/]

    []Custom Portraits mods are installed to "...\Portraits". NOTE: Portrait mods are NOT supported on the Xbox version. This is a limitation of the game, and cannot be fixed by the extension author.[/]

    []Save mods (.zfs) are installed to "...\Saved Games".[/]

    []Modfinder, Portrait Manager, and Arcemi Save Editor can be installed with Vortex and launched using the included tools.[/]

    []All other mods are installed to "%userprofile%\AppData\LocalLow\Owlcat Games\Warhammer 40000 Rogue Trader" with a fallback notification.[/]

    []Mods that need to be installed to the game's installation folder must be installed manually. This is to prevent "splitting" the installation locations across mutliple partitions and disabling hardlinks for many users.[/]
