Railroader Vortex Extension

This extension adds Railroader modding support to Vortex Mod Manager.

  []Other versions may need to select the installation location manually.[/]

  🛠️ Mod Installation Notes:

  • []Automatically downloads and installs Unity Mod Manager. Vortex applies the patch for you, so there is no need to open UMM and click Install.[/]

    []UMM mods (an "info.json" plus a .dll) are installed to "Mods\<Mod Name>".[/]

    []Railloader mods (a "Definition.json") are installed to "Mods\<Mod Name>". They do not need Railloader to be present in order to install, only to run.[/]

    []NOTE: Railloader's official download site is currently offline, so Vortex cannot fetch it for you. If you already have a Railloader archive, install it through Vortex like any other mod and it will be placed in the game folder.[/]

    []Assembly-CSharp.dll files are installed to the "Railroader_Data\Managed" folder.[/]

    []Asset files (.assets, .resource, .resS) are installed to the "Railroader_Data" folder.[/]

    []Mods with a "Railroader_Data" folder are installed to the root folder.[/]

    []Any other mod not described above is installed to the root folder, and Vortex will notify you of this.[/]

  📋 Usage Notes:
  • []You can open several useful files/folders/URLs using the buttons within the folder icon on the Mods toolbar.[/]

    []The "Run Unity Mod Manager" button opens UMM's own window, already pointed at Railroader. Its Mods tab and Assembly install type stay available if you want them.[/]

    []Unity Mod Manager's in-game overlay opens with Ctrl+F10 as usual.[/]

    []Unity Mod Manager is installed as a normal Vortex mod, so purging or removing it takes the patch back out and leaves a clean game folder. There is no need to uninstall it through UMM.[/]
