MechWarrior 5 Clans Vortex Extension

This extension adds MechWarrior 5: Clans modding support to Vortex Mod Manager.

The Steam, Epic and Xbox Game Pass versions of the game should be automatically discovered. Other versions may need to select the install location manually.

Includes Load Ordering for UE5 mods (.pak, .ucas, .utoc).

This game does not support symlinks when loading pak files, so symlinks have been disabled. You must have the mod staging folder and the game on the same drive to use this extension.

UE4SS LogicMod (Blueprint) Mod Authors - You MUST include a "LogicMods" folder above your .pak file in order for this extension to install the mod to the correct location. Without this, there is no way to differentiate between LogicMod paks and regular pak mods. 

A few things to note:

• []For upscalers, reshades, and other mods that need to be next to the game executable, please use the "Binaries (Engine Injector)" mod type. This is also currently the default mod installation path.

  []UE5 Pak mods will be installed to the correct ~mods folder automatically.

  []Other mods that need to go to the game folder can use mod type "Root Game Folder".

  []The UE4SS mod will be automatically installed by the game's executable.

  []UE4SS Script mods can be installed using mod type "UE4SS Scripts".

  []UE4SS LogicMod (Blueprint) mods can be installed using mod type "UE4SS LogicMods (Blueprint)".

  Credit to Pickysaurus  (Nexus Mods Community Manager) for his Unreal Engine Mod Installer extension, which I butchered to make it work here with UE5 mods.

  Credit to insomnious (Nexus Mods App Developer) for his Palworld extension and the method for dynamically setting the game executable so that the Game Pass version is supported.
