Hades II Vortex Extension

This extension adds Hades II modding support to Vortex Mod Manager.

The Steam, Epic, and Xbox versions should find the installation location automatically.

This extension does not support symlinks. You must have the mod staging folder and the game folder on the same storage drive to use this extension. 

Mod Installation Notes:

• []ReturnOfModding Plugin (default for Thunderstore mods) — Ship\ReturnOfModding\plugins\<Namespace-Name>. Detected by a manifest.json plus a main.lua entry point. Packages that already contain a plugins folder keep their own structure; flat archives are wrapped in a folder named after the Thunderstore package.[/]

  []Mod Loader (Hell2Modding) — Ship. Detected by d3d12.dll. Downloaded and installed automatically when the game is managed.[/]

  []Managed dependencies (ENVY (LuaENVY), ENVY (SGG Modding), Chalk, ReLoad, SJSON, DemonDaemon, ModUtil) — each installs to Ship\ReturnOfModding\plugins\ under its own mod type, and is downloaded automatically alongside the loader.[/]

  []Mod Importer (legacy, pre-1. 0 ecosystem) — Content. Detected by modimporter.exe. Registered as a Dashboard tool so it can be launched after installing mods.[/]

  []Mod Utility (legacy ModUtil 2.x) — Content\Mods\ModUtil. Detected by modutil.lua. ModUtil 4.x ships the legacy files too but installs as a plugin instead.[/]

  []Mod — Content\Mods<Mod Name>. The legacy Mod Importer mod folder.[/]

  []Binaries — Ship. For any mod that needs to sit next to the game executable.[/]

  []Root Game Folder — the game's install folder. For mods whose archive already mirrors the game's folder structure.[/]
