Grand Theft Auto IV for Vortex

This extension adds Grand Theft Auto IV (Complete Edition) support to Vortex so you can download and manage GTA IV mods from nexusmods.com/gta4.

The Steam Complete Edition should be discovered automatically (App ID 12210). Other installs can be selected manually. Point Vortex at the folder that contains the GTAIV subdirectory (where GTAIV.exe lives).

  []FusionFix (ASI loader + Fusion OverLoader). Most modern GTA IV mods need this. The extension will warn you if it is missing.[/]

  How mods are installed

  • []FusionFix / ASI loader / mixed game folders go into GTAIV\[/]

    [].asi plugins go into GTAIV\plugins\[/]

    []ScriptHookDotNet scripts (.net.dll) go into GTAIV\scripts\[/]

    []IV-SDK. NET scripts (.ivsdk.dll) go into GTAIV\IVSDKDotNet\scripts\[/]

    []File replacements (pc, common, loose assets) go into GTAIV\update\ for Fusion OverLoader[/]

    FOMOD installers are left to Vortex's built-in FOMOD support.
