Far Cry 3 Vortex Extension NEW

This extension adds Far Cry 3 modding support to Vortex Mod Manager.

The Steam and Ubisoft Connect (including Epic version) versions of the game should be automatically discovered. Other versions may need to select the install location manually.

This extension will automatically download and install the following items:

• []FC3 Mod Installer - To install .a2, .a3, and .bin mod files to be packaged into the game files.[/]

  []Large Address Aware - To make the game executable large address aware, so that the game can use full capabilities of modern hardware[/]

  []XML settings file - To enable game settings that allow for full DX11 use on modern hardware.[/]

  Mod Installation Notes:

  • []Automatically installs Mod Installer to "FCModInstaller" folder.[/]

    []Installs mods with "bin" or "data_win32" folders to game root.[/]

    []Installs .fat and .dat mods to "data_win32" folder.[/]

    []Installs .dll mods to "bin" (binaries) folder.[/]

    []Installs .a2/.a3/.a4/.a5/.bin mods to the "FCModInstaller/ModifiedFilesFC3" folder.[/]

    []Installs gameprofile.xml file to "%DOCUMENTS%/My Games/Far Cry 3" folder.[/]

    []All other mods not described above are installed to root folder.[/]

    Usage Notes:

    • []You can open several useful files and folders using the buttons within the folder icon on the Mods toolbar. [/]
