Dying Light The Beast Vortex Extension

This extension adds Dying Light: The Beast modding support to Vortex Mod Manager.

The extension will automatically download and install, based on user choice, either Super Mod Merger (Recommended) or UTM Mod Merger Utility.

You MUST run the merge tool after installing new mods for them to load. You will receive a notification to run the utility after deploying mods in Vortex.

This is not run automatically because it can take a minute, and it would be a nightmare when batch updating mods in Vortex.

✅ Supported Versions:

  []Other versions may need to select the install location manually.[/]

• []Installs "dataX.pak" mods to the "ph_ft/mods" folder for the Merger utility to find them. FOMOD Installers will output to this location as well. FOMOD authors should include a folder above the .pak file in the output to avoid conflicts.[/]

  []UTM and Super Mod Merger are installed in the "ph_ft" folder and can be run from the Vortex Dashboard or the deployment notification.[/]

  []Users must run the Merger utility after deployment to load mods.[/]

  []Installs mods with a "ph_ft" folder to game root.[/]

  []Other mods not described above are installed next to the game executable in "ph_ft/work/bin/x64".[/]

• []You can open several useful files and folders using the buttons within the folder icon on the Mods toolbar. [/]
