Borderlands 3 Vortex Extension

This extension adds Borderlands 3 modding support to Vortex Mod Manager.

The Steam and Epic versions of the game should be automatically discovered. Other versions may need to select the install location manually.

This extension will automatically download and install the OpenHotfixLoader and Python SDK. These are required for many BL3 mods.

Mod Installation Notes:

• []Downloads and installs OpenHotfixLoader automatically from GitHub to "OakGame/Binaries/Win64/Plugins" folder.

  []Installs Hotfix mods (.bl3hotfix) to "OakGame/Binaries/Win64/Plugins/ohl-mods" folder. Hotfixes are loaded automatically, no commands or web UI required!

  []Downloads and installs the Python SDK automatically from GitHub to "OakGame/Binaries/Win64" folder (also enables plugin loading).

  []Installs SDK mods (.py and .sdkmod) to "sdk_mods" folder.

  []Installs mods with a folder in the game root to the root folder.

  []Installs pak mods to "OakGame/Content/Paks" folder.

  []Installs .mp4 movie mods to "OakGame/Content/Movies" folder.

  []Other mods are installed to the game root folder.

  []If your mod needs to be next to the game executable file (reshades, game .dll files, etc.), use mod type "Binaries (Engine Injector)".

  Usage Notes:

  • []You can open several useful files and folders using the buttons within the folder icon on the Mods toolbar.
