Barad-dûr, the Dark Fortress, was a gigantic stronghold built by Sauron on the land of Mordor. Its construction begain on 1000 Second Age, and it took 600 years to reach completion. Barad-dûr was associated with the dark magic of Sauron, and the Eye of Sauron emerges at its apex to look down at the mortal world. At the end of the Second Age, Barad-dûr was once destroyed when Sauron was defeated at the hands of Isildur. Nonetheless, since Isildur did not destroy the One Ring, Barad-dûr stood once again on Mordor when Sauron rose again, until facing it ultimate end when the One Ring was cast into Mount Doom. “One ring to rule them all, One ring to find them, One ring to bring them all, and in the darkness bind them.” Unlocks and grants the One Ring. When a cavalry unit gains its Tier-4 promotion, it dies and creates a Nazgûl. All units earn +25% combat experience. Must be built on Volcano. One Ring:Support unit unique to the civilization with the Barad-dûr wonder. Combat unit on the same tile receives invisibility, +10 Combat Strength and cannot heal normally. As it name states, only one of the One Ring can exist in the world. Can be captured. Nazgûl:Combat unit unique to the civilization with the Barad-dûr wonder. Has base Combat Strength equal to 10 plus the strongest unit your cities have produced. Reveals invisible unit, only adjacent enemy units can reveal this unit, cannot heal normally.
