📋 About This Mod
AcD - Player Module: Contains the player character's c0000anibnd, adds Deflect frames to player attacks. For the Sake of my own Sanity, the Deflect frames I added (manually to every single character) are active on the same exact frames that the attack's hitbox is active, and not necessarily during the frames of the animation that look like it has enough movement to deflect an attack IE: if the hitbox spawns a bit late or lingers a bit longer than the swing of the attack itself it may appear to as if the timing was missed by a frame or so, I didn't want to spend ages on another side project away from my main overhaul mod, so I did not meticulously examine and place Deflect frames on each attack to have it best fit visually, I instead opted to place Deflect frames on the same frames the hitboxes are active. Spiral Cloud Passage now has Deflect frames active for the entire duration of the Cloud it summons.
AcD - Player Module Hardcore: The same as above, but removed Deflect judgement from the player's regular Guards (they are still able to block), now the only way to Deflect with Kusabimaru is to use an expertly timed R1. Use this module's c0000 instead of the normal Player module's for a more unique and demanding experience. May build on this concept in the future by including a Param edit to give these R1 Deflects additional Posture buildup to the enemy, making it a high risk-high reward system.
AcD - Enemy Module: Contains the anibnds of several enemies, with Deflect frames added during attacks. Enemies that Guard without a specific weapon will not have Deflect frames on that weapon's hitboxes IE: Isshin cannot Guard with his spear, so his spear attacks do not have Deflect frames.
Most Perilous attacks (including the player's thrusts) are not given deflect frames. I think the only exception to this is Snake Eyes' grab attack.
To combine the Enemy Module with either (only one!) of the Player modules, simply move all the anibnd.dcx files in one of their "chr" folders into the other, they will not conflict as they are all different files!
I have not meticulously tested if this breaks the game in any way, and as it's more of a fun side project, I'm not too concerned about balance anyways. Go break some eggs!
Enemy Module includes:
c1010 - Ashina Samurai
c1020 - Samurai General
