📋 About This Mod
defines when "soon" takes place. temporary bottles tell you when they will spontaneously cease to exist.
Look just read the name or the other description, I don't think it is necessary to explain what this does.
Installation
-
[]Download the file. (TemporaryBottleCountdown.zip)[/]
[]Extract into the BepInEx plugins folder.
(probably at: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Casualties Unknown Demo\BepInEx\plugins)[/]
Known issues
-
[]Countdown doesn't appear in the top left if a temporary bottle is held in hand, but will still be shown when hovered over.[/]
[]Temporary bottles created by a liquid centrifuge are actually permanent(issue with vanilla game), therefore, the countdown will show infinity instead. (not really an issue with the mod but I will include it here anyways.[/]
(example being: for clients when playing multiplayer, the host will always have accurate countdowns)
Compatibility
I don't know, but it should be compatible with anything? If not, complain and I might fix it.
It is multiplayer compatible (client and/or host side) the host's countdowns will always be accurate, but the countdowns seen by clients are only roughly accurate.
Announcement and rant (feel free to ignore this part)
I have run out of mod ideas, so I likely wont be making anything else, at least not until the game releases. I will still be maintaining the mods and improving them if I figure out any ways to do so.
If someone has a suggestion feel free to send it on one of my mods or message me about it or whatever, though I am only going to be taking ideas for quality of life mods like the ones I have already made (and I mean actual quality of life, not making the game easier)
Another thing, content mods. I will not be making any. For one: I don't have any interest in adding new stuff to the game, and for two: I acknowledge and respect Orsoniks's wish for modding to be kept to a minimum until the game is released.
Obviously I have made a few mods, however these are just tiny tweaks to the game that I find convenient, and the mods I release are simply those but polished up to be released. I don't intend to take the show away from Orson and the vanilla game, instead, my mods are meant to be as unnoticeable as possible, without altering anything related to difficulty or gameplay (closest it gets is auto minigame tools making it slightly faster to deal with dislocations/shrapnel, but neither of those are life or death issues in my opinion, and the configuration exists for a reason). The point being, my mods are tiny tweaks for convenience, nothing more, and this will remain the case at least until the game releases.
