Player List Patch

Adds a new console command that theoretically fixes a problem with multiplayer.

This mod was originally meant only for myself but after hearing someone else have this bug as well I decided to release it.

The original bug this is meant to fix is that when playing as a client, players who join after you mid game aren't properly added by the multiplayer mod, leading to several bugs. (ones I have seen myself: holding shift or opening the menu does not create the arrow that shows where and how far said player is if they are off screen, inability to spectate said player, if sleeping is enabled and all but the affected players are asleep the game goes mad and tries to increase timescale when it shouldn't making sleeping very buggy though still sort of functional)

Might also fix an issue with multiplayer sprite replacer if this bug occurs but this is just speculation. (Skins of players joining after you always having your skin, rather than their own.)

Added commands are:

• []PLPreset: Tries to fix the bug by clearing the player lists kept by multiplayer and readding all players into them.[/]

  []PLPstatus: Reads the relevant player lists and outputs to console, will also suggest running PLPreset if it sees a different number of players than there should be.[/]

I only recommend using PLPreset if PLPstatus says to do so or if either of the following apply:

• []You are willing to risk completely breaking possibly everything.[/]

  []You know what you're doing.[/]

Otherwise don't

The mod has been effective and bug free in my own usage, however I do not promise anything.

I also can't promise that any reported bugs will be fixed.

Installation

  The console will show if the mod is installed.
