Dragonwilds Wardrobe (Transmog)

Wear the look you like. Keep the stats of the gear you actually use.

What it does

Open your inventory and click Wardrobe. For each armour slot, and for each type of weapon, shield or tool, pick any appearance from the game. Your real gear stays equipped with all its stats, damage and bonuses. Only the look changes.

Armour

• []Head, Body, Legs and Cape tabs with 224 appearances, including the Dowdun Reach, Umbral Sands and Scorned Wilderness armour[/]

  • []171 looks in 18 categories: sword, scimitar, dagger, mace, hammer, greatsword, greataxe, shield, bow, crossbow, staff, wand, pickaxe, hatchet, spade, fishing rod, fishing net, torch[/]

    []One look per category. For example, "all my pickaxes look like the Rune Pickaxe". Every item of that type you take in hand uses the chosen look.[/]

    []The view opens on the category of the item in your hand[/]

    Everywhere

    • []Click to wear. The choice is saved at once. Original look brings back the real item.[/]

      []Item icons and in-game names in your game language[/]

      []Search box, plus a Locked filter that shows only looks you have unlocked (recipe learned or item used before)[/]

      []Choices are saved per character and survive loading, respawning, gear swaps and restarts[/]

      Safe by design

      • []Visual only. Stats, armour values, armour set bonuses, warmth, weapon damage and your inventory are never changed.[/]

        []Your game save files are never touched. Choices are stored in the mod's own saves folder.[/]

        []Client-side. Nothing is sent to the server. Other players see your real gear.[/]

        []Paid or promotional cosmetics are only listed if your character already owns them.[/]

        []Uninstall by deleting the mod folder.[/]

          Installation

          • []Install UE4SS for RuneScape: Dragonwilds.[/]

            []Extract the archive into RSDragonwilds\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods\, so that Mods\DragonwildsWardrobe\Scripts\main.lua exists.[/]

            []Start the game and open your inventory. The Wardrobe button is at the top right of the armour panel.[/]

          Vortex works as well.

          Updating from 1. 0: overwrite the folder. Your saved choices are kept.

          Settings

          Edit Scripts\config.lua with any text editor:

            Known limitations

            • []The inventory character preview shows armour looks but not weapon looks.[/]

              []Material effects the game adds to a weapon (for example an enchantment tint) may not show on a changed weapon look.[/]

              []A torch's flame colour comes from its fire effect, so torch looks change the torch but not the flame.[/]

              []Bows, crossbows, staffs, wands, fishing rods and nets only accept looks that have every attachment point of your item. This keeps projectiles and fishing lines coming from the same place, so some looks may be dimmed for some items.[/]

              []A newly drawn weapon may show its real look for a split second.[/]

              FAQ

              Does a look change my armour set bonus?

              No, since 1. 1. 0. Set bonuses, warmth and item effects always come from the armour you really wear.

              Can other players see my looks?

              No. The game has no separate "appearance" that is sent to other players, so the change can only be shown in your own game.

              The Wardrobe button is missing.

              Check that UE4SS loads: ue4ss\UE4SS.log should contain v1. 1. 0 loaded.
