Charge for every tape returned without rewinding. Localized, persistent, and handled by the original checkout systems.

Unrewound Tape Fee registers a fee at the return counter when a VHS tape needs rewinding, displays a dedicated localized checkout row, and charges $2 per tape through the game's original membership and payment systems.

Important: Employee Fee Policy

DO NOT install this mod alongside zzzzzzzz_EmployeeFeePolicy_P.pak.

Both mods replace BTTask_Checkout-Fees. Installing both makes load order silently discard part of one mod.

If you use Employee Fee Policy, download Unrewound Tape Fee - Employee Fee Policy, remove the original Employee Fee Policy PAK, and install only:

zzzzzzzz_UnrewoundTapeFee_EmployeeFeePolicy_P.pak

This merged variant already incorporates the complete Employee Fee Policy 1. 0. 0 behavior plus every Unrewound Tape Fee feature.

    The monitor title, description, and customer dialogue follow the language selected in the game. English uses the cooked source text; every non-English culture uses merged Game.locres resources.

    Choose One File

    • []Unrewound Tape Fee: use this standalone file if you do not use Employee Fee Policy. Late and damaged-tape employee decisions remain vanilla.

      []Unrewound Tape Fee - Employee Fee Policy: use this file instead of the original Employee Fee Policy PAK. Employees always handle supported disputes and keep valid late, damaged, and rewind charges.

      Install exactly one variant. Never install both Unrewound Tape Fee PAKs.

        Installation

        • []Download and extract exactly one file variant.

          []If using the Employee Fee Policy variant, delete zzzzzzzz_EmployeeFeePolicy_P.pak first.

          []Create RetroRewind/Content/Paks/~mods if it does not already exist.

          []Copy the selected .pak into the ~mods folder.

          []Keep the filename unchanged and restart the game completely.
