Start every work day inside the store instead of outside on the street.

Stockroom Start places the player at a safe position inside the stockroom whenever a save is loaded or a new work day begins.

Skip the repetitive run from the exterior spawn point and begin each day ready to work inside the store.

What Does This Mod Do?

Retro Rewind normally starts the player outside the store at the beginning of every loaded session and new work day. Stockroom Start changes only that initial placement.

The player is moved to a calibrated open position inside the stockroom, facing toward the store. The original calendar, time, weather, store state, inventory, progression, and save systems remain unchanged.

  Installation

  • []Install UE4SS in the game's RetroRewind/Binaries/Win64 directory.

    []Download the latest Stockroom Start archive from the Files tab.

    []Extract the archive.

    []Place the included StockroomStart folder inside RetroRewind/Binaries/Win64/ue4ss/Mods.

    []Restart the game completely.

    How It Works

    During save loading, Stockroom Start hooks the game's final after-load player placement and replaces the exterior spawn with the calibrated stockroom transform.

    The correction runs once after vanilla positioning completes, so the player can move normally as soon as the game becomes playable without being held in a teleport loop.

    For later work days, the mod listens to the game's original new-day event and applies the stockroom position during the transition.

      The stockroom position is build-specific. A future game update or another mod that changes the store layout or player day-start workflow may require an updated version.

      Possible Conflicts

      The mod may conflict with other UE4SS mods that reposition the player while loading a save or beginning a new day.

      Mods that substantially change the stockroom layout may also place furniture or shelving at the calibrated destination.
