Overview

Control return-desk behavior by blocking broken, rewind, reservation, and optional late-fee scans while preserving clean vanilla check-in feedback.

Blocked scans are converted into normal green check-ins, keeping the scanner light and computer display synchronized without triggering unwanted employee actions.

Installation

1. Install UE4SS for Retro Rewind

2. Drop the Returns QoL folder into:

RetroRewind\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods

3. Launch the game

Edit Scripts/config.lua:

• false = reservation scans become normal green check-ins

• Defers to Phone QoL when loaded

Debug

• Enables debug logging in the UE4SS console

Compatibility

• Compatible with Phone QoL

• Uses native game hooks wherever possible

• Does not modify save data

• Prevents scanner/computer visual desyncs

• No double-hooking when used alongside Phone QoL
