Description

Adventure, Thriller, Music, History, Documentary and Sports join the default genres. All six are starting genres like Horror and Drama.

Alternatively, you can use the miscellaneous file "18 Genres Revamp" to turn Police into Crime, Kids into Family, and Xmas into Holidays.

Or use the 14 Days / 30 Days versions to have New Releases last 14 / 30 in-game days.

Requirements

Requires a movie pack that includes movies for the new genres. This mod doesn't come with movies. Either download and install custom movies or create your own with the Workshop.

Requires a new save.

Don't use Full VHS Covers with this mod. It's already built-in.

Shelf titles for the new genres require the game to be set to English.

Movie Genre Workshop XXL requires a display resolution of at least 1080p to scale properly.

Installation

1. Download one of the "18 Genres" files and extract it.

2. Put the extracted file into the following folder: "... RetroRewind\RetroRewind\Content\Paks\~mods"

(optional) 3. Download "Movie Genre Workshop XXL" to create a movie pack with custom movies.

How To Update The Workshop

1. Download and extract the latest Workshop version

2. Move or copy/paste all "json" files from your old Workshop folder into the Workshop folder you just extracted

3. Move or copy/paste the folder "Imported_Assests" from your old Workshop folder into the new one

4. Run the new version
