Resident Evil Requiem - Save Backup Utility

Features:

- Light/Dark Mode themes (based on Operating System theme)

- Future proof, updates and expansion(s) will not change Steam save folder location and so the tool will work with those just fine

- Detects if the game is running to help prevent corrupt saved data from the game being open (unlikely to happen but possible), can still backup with game running.

- Cannot restore backups if the game is running, to prevent data corruption

- Auto-Backup is created for current save data before restoring a backup

- Multi Steam account support, Backups will be named after User ID (" Backup_XXXXXX"), User ID is based on Steam account name.

- Buttons to access Backup and Save data from within the tool

Installation:

There is no install (only backing up and restoring save files), run the application every time you want to backup or restore save files.

Usage:

- The tool will detect if the game is running, you are still able to Backup save data with the game running, but not restore, to prevent corruption the tool does not allow to restore save data while the game is running.

- When restoring save files, a backup of current save data is automatically created (unless there is nothing to Backup), the new backup will be named accordingly to help identify it.

- When renaming the backups with the tool, it will retain User ID, "Backup_" and for Backups created from Auto-Backup when using restore will retain "Pre-Restore Backup".

Task Name: RERequiem

You can enable or disable the Auto-Backup with the addon tool, it will remember the state, if enable or disabled and the timer set.

It will backup even if the game is not running. Just make sure that you keep the tool in the same folder where you Enabled the Auto Backup from.
