Remove Leon's Jacket

NEW UPDATE: I've fully integrated the shirt model with Leon's death animations! Previously, certain death scenes (like the chainsaw execution) would cause visual glitches or model popping. But now it includes the fix for death animations and gore models. Now Leon stays in his shirt even during the chainsaw death scene without any visual bugs. Clean, stable. If you encounter any bug, please let me know!

Normally, Resident Evil 9 forces Leon to wear his Jacket from the beginning of the game (Chapter 1: Wrenwood Streets) until the end of the escape in (Chapter 3: Rhodes Hill Lab.) This mod removes that restriction and allows you to play with the Shirt-only model right from the start!

Technical Note & Compatibility: Please avoid installing this over other mods, as it may cause visual issues. Leon’s body model consists of 4 separate parts. Two of these are specifically designed for his jacket; they exclude the arms and waist to prevent the body from clipping through the clothing. Since many other modders use these partial body meshes as a base, using this mod alongside others might result in missing limbs or a missing back for the character model. I have optimized this mod specifically for the default main game outfit.

Description

In the vanilla version of Resident Evil 9, the game scripts force Leon S. Kennedy to wear his tactical jacket during the intense opening sequences—specifically from Chapter 1/10 (Wrenwood Streets) all the way through the escape in Chapter 3/20 (Rhodes Hill Lab).

While the jacket looks great, some of us prefer the classic "shirt-only" look for that extra mobility and iconic aesthetic. This mod bypasses the forced outfit check, allowing you to play through the entire prologue and early game with the shirt model enabled. No more waiting for the story to catch up to your style.
