📋 About This Mod
There are multiple files:
- One category removes Leon's beard, which has Shaven in title
- One category retains Leon's beard but recolors it to brown, which has Stubble in the title
- The files with Infection in their name retain Leon's T-Virus infection signs throughout the game
- The files with No Infection in their remove Leon's T-Virus infection signs from his face, neck, arms, and hands throughout the game
- The files with RE6 Asia Addon are designed to be used with DazzyAllen's fantastic RE6 Asia mod. Refer to the specific installation instructions at the bottom of the description and on the mod's description in Fluffy Mod Manager. These files remove Leon's infection as well.
You should only install one of the mod files at a time, except for the Default Beard Color file, which is listed under the Miscellaneous category and should be installed after the main file of your choosing that contains a stubble. The RE4R Iris Texture addon can be installed after any main file
There are a few known issues. First, removing Leon's beard material can make Leon's eyelids and inside his mouth brighter than they should be when using path tracing, which isn't an issue when using rasterization (non-raytracing) or raytracing. I assume this is an issue with how path traced lighting interacts with Leon's materials.
Fixed in v2
The stubble version has an issue where the beard will disappear when viewed from further distances. This is just how the game handles the beard LOD. The issue can be very noticeable with rasterization and ray tracing, but is heavily reduced with path tracing.
Some images use my Gentleman Operator Turtleneck mod in the navy color.
Regular files installation:
- Install REFramework for RE9
- Ensure "Enable Loose File Loader" is enable under the "LooseFileLoader" section of the REFramework menu when entering the game
- Install Fluffy Mod Manager and use to install one main file at a time
- The Default Beard Color addon can be installed after one of the files that include a stubble
RE6 Asia Addon file installation:
- Install REFramework for RE9
- Ensure "Enable Loose File Loader" is enable under the "LooseFileLoader" section of the REFramework menu when entering the game
- Install Fluffy Mod Manager
- On DazzyAllen's RE6 Asia mod page, download the main outfit of your choice as well as the head addon
- Use Fluffy Mod Manager to install the mods in this order:
Main Outfit Mod > Head Addon > One of the RE6 Asia Addon files
- The Default Beard Color addon can be installed after one of the files that include a stubble
