📋 About This Mod

Disables most of the light sources in a scene.A controller is also availble, to change the intensity of the lights.

Who forgot to pay the bills?...

This mod lets you disable most of the light sources in a scene.

It includes 4 options :

- Scan lights: Scans the lights of the actual zone

- Disable Manual: Disables the lights scanned

- Restore All: Restores all the lights in their original state

There's a counter at the bottom, to see how many light sources were scanned.

Sometimes, some lights might stay on (or switched back on, after leaving the area).

The fourth option, Continuous, is an attempt at solving this, by continuously scanning and disabling lights.

I didn't get any lag using this option, but it might be heavy on your computer. Try it and see if that works.

You can enable the options by pressing the buttons, or pressing their corresponding keyboard keys:

F9: Continuous (Start/Stop)

F10: Scan lights

F11: Disable Manual

F12: Restore All

As an optional download, a Lights Controller mod is available, that lets you change the intensity of the lights.

The slider has values that go from -5 to 15. Any value lower or higher don't make a difference.

Like the main, you can use F7 to sync the lights, and F8 to activate/deactivate the effect.

Let me know what you think, or how to improve it.

- The mod requires REFramework. The option will appear at the bottom of the frame, in "Script Generated UI". The "Lights Controller" will appear as a different option.

- It should work for both versions (Epic Games and Steam), with or without Ray Tracing/Path Tracing enabled.

- It can be used during cutscenes or on the title screen.

- You need to scan again once you load a new area.

- If RT/PT is disabled, the lights will appear switched on, but seem kinda faded or desaturated. I don't know why it happens, but to get the true effect, you can activate Ray Tracing Tweaks in REFramework:

- Install it by using Fluffy Mod Manager, or manually by dragging the "reframework" folder to the root of the game (or the lua script inside reframework/autorun).

- I initially wanted to disable the light sources manually through the files, but there were a TON of them. Then I thought of the lua script.

- I'm not a software engineer, I have only basic developing skills, so I asked AI to help me creating this. So if there's a bug or something to change, I'll try my best, just bear with me.

- It CAN potentially be used on other RE games (since their structure is the same), but I haven't tested it. If you try it on other games, let me know if that works.
