( I forgot to pay for my internet, so I stayed up all night (07/01) making screenshots of this new mod in-game. I ended up taking 441 screenshots, but I only picked out a few of the best ones to post. It was so much fun tweaking the brightness and filters—it felt exactly like the days right before I decided to start making mods and become a modder. These screenshots are now right at the top of my profile.)

It was genuinely interesting to figure out how to replace a default outfit from scratch, something I had never done before. Messing with the engine, replacing files, and setting up the whole folder structure for it all over again was a great experience. I've double-checked everything, and the costume works perfectly fine across almost all missions and game stages. I also disabled blood appearing on the clothes for this outfit, as it wasn't working properly.

But I don't really want to make mods for Leon's default costume anymore. Replacing default objects is incredibly inconvenient. I want to make sure my mod doesn't break the Deluxe Edition costumes, because those conflicts make them completely unplayable. Plus, the default outfit barely has any separate objects that I can replace with my own shoes, gloves, or socks, for example — I want these items to be independent so I can easily reuse them in other mods whenever I want.

Let me know what you think. Depending on the complexity of the mod, I might still make some for the default slot in the future if possible.
