Evan MacMillan, also known as The Trapper. Previously forced to endure endless games of life and death. Committing sacrifices for a divine being until he was saved by some miracle.

Known for his unnerving presence and agitation, when making use of his brutal strength to sacrifice survivors in trials.

It's been a long while since I made mods for video games. I've come a long way up to this point. But unfortunately my lack of motivation and time nowadays to spend on such projects has caused me to become rather inactive.

But for this occasion I decided to come back from the shadows this time to have Evan tell a new story in the newest installment of the Resident Evil Series.

Venture through the streets of Wrenwood, Rhodes Hill and Raccoon City, as you slay every monster in your path.

What would The Trapper be without his trusty weapon?

The Trapper's Cleaver I had previously released is now included in this mod as an add-on. Downloading the main mod and the cleaver will group both together for easier selection in Fluffy Mod Manager.

For a nice touch the cleaver will turn into the Pain Flail when upgrading the blade.

Only Leon's original hatchet is replaced. The mortal edge is unaffected by this mod.

First Person View is also supported. Feel free to experience the action from Evan's own eyes, just like you are used to from Dead by Daylight ;)

There is a catch however. I had to censor the more brutal deaths for Evan by replacing the dismemberment meshes with his intact body for now because I am not yet sure how I want to handle this because Evan's mesh from Dead by Daylight doesn't give me enough options for making the dismemberment believable. Some death scenes like getting sliced in half or diagonally by the chainsaw doctor or the Tyrant may look off because of this. I will possibly integrate dismemberment meshes in a future patch for this mod.

The death scenes with head dismemberment however are uncensored. But they aren't as detailed right now.

Some cutscenes may look off to you, since this mod replaces Leon's default outfit. You will most likely encounter Evan or Grace pulling off an invisible glove to check Evan's infection status. This is due to the fact that CAPCOM actually made different versions of those cutscenes depending on the outfit. The Noir Outfit's cutscenes would be more suitable for Evan, since no gloves are worn in that outfit. Version 1. 5 provides a replacement for some of the cutscenes motlist and scn-files to have Evan use the noir outfit's animations for scenes like removing the glove in Wrenwood to check infection or removing both gloves after completing ARK.
