RE4 UHD Support Plugin for Mod Organizer 2

Adds Resident Evil 4 UHD, Steam version (→), to supported games in Mod Organizer 2.

Required is working instance of Mod Organizer 2 on your machine. Version 2. 4. 4 or newer.

  Installation

  • []Make sure Mod Organizer 2 (MO2) is not running.

    []Copy "game_re4uhd.py" file into following sub-directory under MO2 installation directory:

    "plugins/basic_games/games"[]Start Mod Organizer 2

    []From the file menu select "Manage Instances".

    []Press the "Create new instance" button.

    []Keep progressing with the Next button.

    []When it asks you to select a game, check the "Show all supported games" checkbox.

    []Now, in the expanded list of games, find and select "Resident Evil 4 UHD".

    Using Mods

    From this point, this is standard usage of Mod Organizer 2 functionality.

    You can try the mod included below to test your installation.

    Use the install from file feature. Eg. select Install Mod from the File menu.

    Creating Mods

    This is information for people that package the mods.

    Mods should come as archives with proper directory structure inside them.

    Directory structure must start at the game root directory. I.e. follow the structure of game's Steam directory.

    Eg. for files that go somewhere under the "\BIO4" directory, the structure must start at THAT directory.
