📋 About This Mod
Have you ever wanted to play Red Dead Redemption 2 without the HUD only to find out how challenging it is to not have a reticle? Have you ever tried turning on the reticle only but realize how distracting that white dot is? What's even the point of downloading all these brutal Euphoria mods when you're too busy looking at this solid white dot??
This mod changes the reticle for a minimal hardcore playthrough.
What this mod does:
- Changes the white dot into a cross
- Makes the white dot extremely small (so you really have to look for it to see it)
- Makes the white dot 85% transparent gray
- Removes the hitmarker
- Removes all reticle color changes/transitions
- Fades it almost completely when inactive with your weapon drawn
- Reticle Dot size will always be small
Recommended settings:
- FREE AIM BABYYY
- All HUD Settings OFF except Weapon Reticle
- Weapon Reticle: Dot
Installation:

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community-approved (168 endorsements) and widely downloaded (10,983 downloads)
- Does exactly what it says: swaps the ugly vanilla reticle for something more immersive
- Lightweight UI mod, won't impact performance
⚠️ Cons
- Purely cosmetic – if you're after gameplay changes, this isn't it
- No screenshots or detailed previews in the description, so you're flying blind on the look
- Compatibility risk with other UI mods that alter the reticle or HUD elements
For players who hate the vanilla reticle and want a quick, no-fuss visual upgrade. If you're a UI mod enthusiast looking to customize your HUD, this is a simple addition. Skip if you want gameplay changes or need a fully overhauled UI.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Since it's a UI mod, make sure to place it in the correct mod folder (e.g., Data for Bethesda games) or use a mod manager for easy installation.
- Check if the mod is compatible with other UI overhauls you might have, as conflicts can cause the reticle to revert or glitch.
- If you're using a mod manager, preview the mod's files before installing to ensure it only replaces the reticle texture.
