Epilogue Savegame Collection - Minimum Completion

OVERVIEW

This is a small collection of save games I have made where I rushed through to the end of Arthur's story specifically so that as much side content as possible would be left for John Marston to do once the epilogue starts.

NOTES

-I have not done any stranger missions (besides ones exclusive to Arthur).

-I have done the Arthur exclusive "Fundraiser" mission, so you can find Arthur's name inscribed on the Saint Denis memorial.

-I have not hunted any legendary animals.

-I have not deliberately purchased any weapons and tried to collect as few as non-unique ones as possible.

-I have not done any weapon customizations, nor purchased any attachments/upgrades for them.

-I have not purchased any clothing items.

-I have not crafted any satchels, clothing items, trinkets, or talismans.

-I have zero progress on the Legend of the East challenges.

-I have collected Pearson's Scout Jacket (from the rabbit request), Dutch's Vaquero Spurs (from the pipe request), the Rare Rolling Block Rifle, and the Owl Feather Trinket from Rains Fall.

-I have compendium entries for all the Guarma exclusive animals, but besides that I have avoided making entries as much as possible.

-I have not done any bounties (besides the Arthur exclusive one).

-I have not found any dinosaur bones, orchids, nor any other collectible items.

-I have avoided interacting with random encounters as much as possible.

INSTALLATION

When you download the save files, you'll find two folders: Low Honor Arthur and High Honor Arthur. As the name implies, these refer to the honor level Arthur has/had in the corresponding save games.

The second set of folders are labeled Arthur and John. The John folder contains the autosave that occurs right after completing the "Red Dead Redemption" mission, where you begin the epilogue and take control of John for the very first time. In the High Honor Arthur version, I had Arthur help John escape, while Low Honor Arthur went back for the money (this will only effect some dialogue with Charles, later on). The Arthur folder contains a savegame just before the "Our Best Selves" mission; this is Arthur's last chance to freeroam before triggering the endgame, and I've included it in case you want to pick your own ending to Arthur or do some stuff as him before switching to John (for example, you may want to do the first three Charlotte encounters as Arthur, so that you can unlock the fourth one for John; otherwise, John can only do the first two. Also, if you want John to keep all of Arthur's money, you can have Arthur get robbed at the Aberdeen Pig Farm and then come back for the money as John).

After you select which save file you want to use, go to Documents\Rockstar Games\Red Dead Redemption 2\Profiles\<some random number> and simply drag and drop the save into this folder. If it asks you to overwrite an existing file, click Yes. When you start the game, it may say there's a sync issue with the cloud. Always select to keep the Local Files over the Cloud files. Lastly, if you have other existing saves already, the game may automatically load up one of those first when you start the game. If it does, simply pause the game as soon as you load in, go to "Story", "Load Game", and load up the correct save from under there (should have the mission name "My Last Boy" or "Red Dead Redemption"; will appear as an autosave in most cases, so don't autosave right over it by accident!).
