Save Cards - Beta

Heavily inspired by, but distinct from the save system in Prey For Death 2.

Does not remove the ability to download maps, nor is limited to security stations. Select workstations allow you to save, including Morgan and Alex's offices. Some (though not currently all) are labeled on the map.

Unlike in P4D2, save cards can be fabricated. You can choose to disable this or change where the fab plan gets acquired (Morgan's office, Alex's office, reactor control room). You can also edit how many materials it takes, though the minimum number of synthetic is always 1 to prevent making them for free.

Save cards in the environment are hand-placed, mostly associated with secrets, though a few are placed around mandatory objectives. The total in the entire game (barring fabrication) is currently around 51.

The thumb drive model used for the save cards has been edited to remove the unsightly lanyard and have a more appropriate falling sound than a metal thud. There is a configuration option for save cards to be referred to as "save drives" for those pedantically inclined.

This mod is currently in beta. It has been very much playable for a long time but has not been released until now due to certain quirks. Be careful about saving during conversations, cutscenes and with enemies nearby. You may lose your save card while no saving occurs. I recommend playing with dev tools enabled so you can spawn save cards if you happen to lose them unfairly.

Please share your thoughts and provide feedback/notify me about any issues (aside from getting your save cards wasted). I personally liked the way the save card distribution felt during gameplay, but others might not feel the same way. I also plan on implementing a configuration option/alternate file to not have save cards, but still have saving only be done on computer terminals, a la SCP: Containment Breach.
