Packable Turrets

This mod replaces turrets found undeployed in secured areas with packed turrets. These can be stored in inventory and, once dropped, will become a regular turret, which can no longer be returned to inventory. Turrets created at a fabricator will come out packed.

This mod has the downside of splitting turrets into arbitrary categories, but the upsides are pretty fun: banking turrets for future use, impromptu trap setting, taking eradicators where they've never gone before. Packed turrets will need to be hacked after unpacking if Morgan's typhon level is high. Please use caution when first deploying.

Care has been taken not to change turrets that start out deployed or near a technopath, so this mod is unlikely to passively undermine any encounters. Turrets with quest-related scripting have likewise been left alone.

Requires chairloader to install. This mod requires starting a new game, and will cause errors if installed on an existing save. If updating to a new version gives you install errors, delete this mod's entry in \SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Prey\Mods\config, then click 'Refresh Mod List' and redeploy.
