SloBlivion - Birth Signs and Stones

Birth signs in vanilla have an existential problem: they mostly just add one more stat cherry on the pie, and since the game does not need this in anyway what so ever, this is an empty parking space. The problem then is is that you can only fill this empty space with…more things the game does not need (abilities/powers for characters). Since this is the case I decided to reorient birth signs to offer Faustian pact style powers and changed the stat buffs to stop being purely positive, and instead like races, offer pros and cons.

Birth Stones are also included as they are related to the signs (and also suffered from the same issue).

For example, The Towers power to open any lock now comes with a drawback of 4 real world hours of sun damage, making you have to think twice if/how/when you use it, instead of just “one free door daily”.

Maybe you have a couple of goes now with the lockpick on that “very hard” lock, before feeling you REALLY want whats in that chest and give in to temptation to use your power, trying to figure out how you can avoid the sun for the next day (I play at 3:1 timescale, so 4 hours is meant to represent 12 in game hours as in the day portion of any day).

The other motivation behind these specific changes is that the more ways the game uses your health/stamina/magicka and time itself as resources, the better.
