📋 About This Mod
Show all unvisited map markers
· - = | Description | = - ·
Similar to the "Explorer" perk in Fallout games, this mod will mark all locations on your map. You will not be able to fast travel there until you visited them yourself once. By default, this happens on level 20.
It will work for all worldspaces, Tamriel, SI and mod added ones.
If new mods are installed later, those map markers will show up as well, if the conditions (= level 20, unless changed) are still met.
By default, you will get a short message when new markers are added to your map. You can change that in the ini to no notification at all or to a more obvious message box.
You can set the level on which the map markers should appear in the ini file as well.
This mod supports LINK.

Copy the contents of the archive into the Oblivion\Data Folder.(For your own sanity, use a mod manager for this).
Activate the .esp in a game launcher of your choice.
Load order doesn't matter.

You can just uninstall all the files at any time, but any map markers that were added by this mod will stay visible.
This mod marks all locations on your map, similar to the Explorer perk in Fallout games, but fast travel remains locked until you visit each location. It's a quality-of-life tweak for players who want to see everything without exploring blindly. With 169 endorsements and 3,133 downloads, it's a modestly popular utility.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- No more guessing where undiscovered locations are—everything is visible from the start.
- Keeps fast travel balanced by forcing you to actually visit places before teleporting.
- Solid community support with 169 endorsements and over 3,000 downloads.
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in September 2021—might not work with the latest game patches.
- If you prefer the thrill of discovering locations organically, this removes that element.
For players who hate missing hidden locations and want a complete map from the get-go. Also great for completionists who want to plan their exploration routes. Skip if you enjoy the sense of discovery or want a more immersive exploration experience.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Since this mod only marks locations, you'll still need to physically travel to them to unlock fast travel—plan your routes accordingly.
- Check if the mod requires a specific game version or DLC; if it's outdated, you might need to test it in your current setup.
- If you're using a mod manager, install it like any other mod and ensure it's enabled in your load order.
