It adds more mystery when travelling, and creates the illusion, that Tamriel is bigger then it actually is. This mod opens all kinds of opportunities. You can gain on performance by disabling LOD or VWDs. And if your game gained enough smoothnes with that, you can also increase your visuals to the heights you thought were unreachable.
