📋 About This Mod
The Productive Mines mod refurbishes seven of the unused mines and adds workers, bringing them to life. This mod builds on that by turning the foremen and forewomen of these mines into vendors who sell mining supplies, gems, ores (including those from Cobl and iron ore from Mehrunes' Razor) and various minerals. It pairs well with Mining Requires a Pickaxe - Extended Ores, which enhances mining realism by allowing these materials to be found in gold and silver veins.
Two Versions Available (activate only one):
-
[]Regular Version – Standard functionality
[
]OCRAFT Version (Recommended) – Requires additional masters (OCRAFT and OCRAFT - Cobl Glue) and expands the selection of available materials, including various scrap metals, tin, and corundum ingots.
Adds ores, minerals, and mining supplies to the renovated mines from the Productive Mines mod. A small utility mod for players who want convenient access to mining goods, with 11 endorsements and recent updates.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Tight integration with Productive Mines—if you use that mod, this is a natural add-on.
- Recent update (Feb 2025) means it's likely compatible with current game versions.
- Small but functional: 11 endorsements and nearly 5k downloads show it works for its niche.
⚠️ Cons
- Requires the base Productive Mines mod—no standalone value.
- Only 11 endorsements, so it's a niche add-on with limited community feedback.
For players who already use Productive Mines and want a one-stop shop for mining goods. Skip if you don't have the base mod or prefer to gather ores yourself.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure you have the base Productive Mines mod installed first, or this won't work.
- Check the mod's load order—place it after Productive Mines to ensure the vendors appear correctly.
- If you're using a mod manager, let it handle the file placement to avoid overwriting issues.
