HGEC_Ambassador_of_Darkness_7_colors is a 2009 armor mod that recolors the famous Ambassador of Darkness armor into seven color variants for the HGEC body type. It has zero endorsements but over 11,000 downloads, indicating a niche but popular choice for Oblivion players seeking visual variety.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Over 11,000 downloads show it's been a popular choice for years.
- Seven color options give you plenty of variety to match your character's style.
- Simple recolor mod—no complex scripts or dependencies to worry about.
⚠️ Cons
- Zero endorsements—might be a sign that it's not the most polished or supported mod.
- Last updated in 2009—likely outdated and may not work with newer Oblivion versions or mod setups.
- Only works with the HGEC body type, so if you use a different body mod, this won't fit.
For Oblivion players who use the HGEC body and want to give the Ambassador of Darkness armor a fresh look with multiple color choices. Skip if you're using a different body type or expect modern mod features like custom meshes or textures.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure you have HGEC installed, otherwise the armor won't fit your character's body.
- Since it's an old mod, check for compatibility with your Oblivion version and any other armor mods you have.
- Use a mod manager like OBMM or Wrye Bash to easily toggle between the seven color variants.
