📋 About This Mod
Merged Teeth & New Merged Mouth by Scanti What is it? It\'s a modders resource that merges the upper and lower teeth / mouth and tongue nifs into a single nif. This mesh is fully FaceGen morph integrated and will behave like the seperated teeth models. By doing this you free up a FaceGen head slot that you can put your own mesh into i.e. whiskers, beards, noserings etc... How do I use it? I\'ve include an example esp file that converts all the races to use the new mesh, thus freeing up a slot. Look at how that works in the Construction Set. Usage details. As with all my stuff you can do whatever you like with it. It would be nice if you mentioned my name in your read me so other people know about the resource but if you forget I won\'t lose any sleep over it. :) Contact details. You can find me on the elderscrolls forums (www.bethsoft.com/bgsforums) using the username scanti.
Merged Teeth is a modder's resource for Oblivion that combines upper and lower teeth, mouth, and tongue meshes into a single NIF file. It is fully FaceGen morph integrated, allowing custom races and NPCs to use the merged mesh seamlessly. With 190 endorsements and last updated in 2008, it remains a niche tool for modders.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Solid endorsement count (190) for a niche modder resource.
- Solves a real technical headache by merging multiple meshes into one.
- FaceGen integration means it works with the game's morphing system.
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2008 — likely outdated for modern Oblivion setups.
- Only useful for modders; regular players get nothing from this.
For Oblivion modders who create custom races or NPCs and need a unified mouth mesh. Skip if you're a player looking for gameplay or visual changes — this is a behind-the-scenes tool.
💡 Beginner Tips
- If you're modding, test the merged mesh in the Construction Set to ensure FaceGen morphs work correctly.
- Since this is a resource, you'll need to import the NIF into your own mod — it won't appear in-game by itself.
- Check the file structure after download; older mods sometimes have loose files that need manual placement.
