📋 About This Mod
Technically, this mod provides alternative keys to move the player with freeflying camera on. Ever since I\'ve started playing Oblivion (Only two months!), I\'ve been searching internet for a mod which enables this. I couldn\'t find one out so I made it myself. With this you can make actual movies (Real ones, not the gameplay movie) out of gameplay. This is only the beta version. I plan to add more features. Suggestions are welcome. ******************************************************** Just uploaded an alternate version of this mod more appropriately named as I figured, Oblivion Movie Director. Added \'m\' key to toggle HUD so that movie making becomes more perfect.
Independent Camera is a simple gameplay mod that allows players to view the game from any desired camera angle. With 109 endorsements and over 3,000 downloads, it offers a straightforward solution for those seeking more camera control, though it hasn't been updated since 2008.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Gives you total freedom to set the camera wherever you want—perfect for screenshots or just playing from a fresh angle.
- Lightweight and to the point; no bloat, just the camera control you asked for.
- Decent community traction with 109 endorsements, so it's not some obscure broken mod.
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2008, so it might not work with newer game versions or patches.
- No detailed description or instructions, so you're on your own figuring out how to use it.
- Potential compatibility issues with other mods that alter camera behavior.
This is for players who want to break free from the default camera and explore the game from new perspectives, like for cinematic screenshots or just to see the world differently. It's also for tinkerers who don't mind a bit of trial and error with an older mod.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Check the mod's file structure to see if it's a simple drop-in or requires manual placement in your game directory.
- Since it's from 2008, test it on a backup save first to avoid any crashes with your current setup.
- If the camera controls aren't obvious, look for in-game key bindings or a config file to adjust the view.
