📋 About This Mod
Description
===========
Places map markers at all Doom and Rune Stones across Cyrodiil. They are not marked on your map, you will have to find them on your own, but after discovering one, you can now Fast-Travel to them.
Based on a_saffin's "Doomstone Map Markers" mod.
If you want some insight on how many those exactly are, all stones mentioned here: http://en.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Magical_Stones (except for the nirn stone, as it doesn't exist in game) have been given map markers.
The nirn stone is added into the game by various other mods, most well known of these is probably Oblivion Uncut: https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/47191
Mixxa77 - Doomstone and Runestone Map Markers.

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Huge community trust (1,281 endorsements) and over 105k downloads — clearly a go-to for many players.
- Solves the tedium of hunting down every stone manually, especially for completionists.
- Fast-travel after discovery is a nice QoL touch that respects exploration.
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in August 2024 — may not be compatible with the latest game patches.
- Requires you to find each stone first, so it doesn't spoil exploration for purists.
For Oblivion players who want to cut down on backtracking while still exploring. Great for completionists hunting every Doomstone and Runestone. Skip if you prefer zero map assistance or want gameplay changes — this is purely a convenience mod.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Since it's a simple map marker mod, just drop the files into your Data folder and enable the .esp in your launcher.
- If you're using a mod manager like OBMM or Wrye Bash, you can install it through that for easier management.
- Remember that markers only appear after you discover the stones, so don't expect them on a fresh save.
