Description

Simple Saves Plus is an updated version of my original Simple Saves mod. I made this one month after the original and forgot to release it (oops).

This mod automatically creates autosaves at customisable intervals (every 3 minutes by default). A save is created every time you level up (by default), and a customisable key can be used to manually trigger an autosave. The maximum number of autosaves has also been expanded to five, and this can be customised too. If you are in combat, dialogue, or a cutscene when the save timer elapses, the autosave will be delayed until after the scene ends.

This is intended as a replacement for the vanilla quicksave and autosave feature, the latter of which can cause crashes and save corruption vary rarely when it tries to save during a scene transition. I recommend you disable autosaves in the game options for this reason, and avoid using quicksaves.

The aim of this mod is to be as lightweight as possible, and has very minimal scripting.

As my comments above suggest, Simple Saves Plus includes a simple INI for full customisation of all features.

Installation

This mod requires the xOBSE version 22. 3 or greater.

Standard installation procedure: add the file to your data folder and check in the game launcher or your mod manager of choice.

To customise the mod, see instructions in the included INI file.

Uninstallation

Just uncheck the mod. Uninstalling this mod will have no permanent effects on your save game.
