Cross-platform 4GB patches for the Steam GOTY Deluxe version of Obilvion as well as the Construction Set, work on anything that runs modern browsers. You can also use a real PE header editor for this.
You don't need to patch Oblivion.exe if you have the GOG version. Linux Proton appears to have LAA on by default.
1. Download BPS patches from this page's Files tab and extract the archive.
2. Open Rom Patcher JS in your preferred web browser. Or your favourite BPS patching tool.
3. Select Oblivion.exe or TESConstructionSet.exe in the ROM file field
4. Select the corresponding BPS files in the Patch file field.
5. Click Apply and replace the original exe with the patched exe.
