📋 About This Mod
Correction of color temperature and high color values of vanilla clothing textures.
Based on Oblivion Upscaled Textures (OUT) by Kartoffels
OUT is vanilla high resolution textures, Clothes - Color Correction is a standalone mod, you do not need OUT, just note that the mod does not have normal maps, this is done to keep the mod up to date and compatible with retextures that have their own normal maps. You can use the normal maps from OUT or Really Textured Normal Maps - Updated or use the standard maps that the game already has, everything will work fine.
The previous mod gave me the idea to make adjustments to the clothes, vanilla colors always seemed too colorful to me, from the standard red, green and blue colors, to an unsightly brown mess that I didn't even want to wear. When I edited textures, I noticed that all clothes have warm tones, you won't see pure colors in the game, even on white clothes there will always be a touch of yellow.
So I tried to fix the color temperature by making a neutral tone and lowering the color saturation to normal values.
And... it's a blue filter. That's it. Half of it, really. Only 10% of the blue filter negates all the parasitic color and corrects the color temperature, white is now white, gray is now gray without a dash of yellow. Colors are cleaner. The second part is to reduce the colorfulness, I lowered the colors by 25%, I think this is optimal considering how strong the main R-G-B colors are. I didn't make exceptions for any clothing, I applied 10% blue and 25% desaturation to all in-game clothing and in Shivering Isles without exception, except for rings and amulets, I intentionally left them out.
I also made my improved fix of the two tunics from SI and included them in the mod. SI Mania Clothing Fix obsolete.
UOP textures are also included.
Hey stranger, look at my merchandise.

💡 Beginner Tips
- Place the mod files directly into your Data folder or use a mod manager like Vortex for easy uninstallation.
- If you use ENB or ReShade, this mod may interact with your color grading—test in different lighting conditions.
- Since it's a texture replacer, load order doesn't matter much, but keep it above other texture mods that affect clothing.
