📋 About This Mod
Full set recolor of Daedric armor, shield and weapons.
Based on Oblivion Upscaled Textures (OUT) by Kartoffels, all rights belong to him. I just changed the color of the textures for myself but decided to upload to the Nexus. I hope it's not a problem.
Female and Male armors!
I tried to clear the textures from the brown mess by making a cold metal with more bloody red veins.
The archive contains only textures without normal maps!
You can use the normal maps from the Oblivion Upscaled Textures (OUT) mod, but i recommend Really Textured Normal Maps - Updated.
Just drop it into the Data folder or Wrye Bash. If you are using Oblivion Upscaled Textures (OUT) set Darker Daedric Armor and Weapons after/below in WB.
Elven Armor
Ebony Armor
Dark Brotherhood Armor
Dwemer Armor
Imperial Armors
Glass Armor
A full set recolor of Daedric armor, shield, and weapons, giving them a darker and bloodier appearance. With 300 endorsements and over 53,000 downloads, this cosmetic mod is popular among Skyrim players seeking a more menacing look for their Daedric gear.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community favorite with 300 endorsements and 53k downloads — clearly a look players want.
- Covers the whole Daedric set, so your entire outfit matches.
- Easy to install — just drop the files in and go.
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2023 — might not be compatible with the latest Skyrim version or other mods.
- No screenshots or detailed description, so you're flying blind on the exact look.
- Purely cosmetic — if you wanted new models or enchantments, this isn't it.
For Skyrim players who want their Daedric gear to look more intimidating and blood-soaked without messing with gameplay. Skip if you're after new armor models or stats — this is just a recolor.
💡 Beginner Tips
- If you're using a mod manager like Vortex or MO2, just download and install — it'll handle the file placement.
- Check if you have other Daedric retextures installed; they might conflict, so load order matters.
- Since it's a texture replacer, make sure your game's texture quality settings are high enough to see the difference.
