📋 About This Mod
Full set recolor of Dwemer/Dwarven armor, weapons and shield.
Based on Oblivion Upscaled Textures (OUT) by Kartoffels, all rights belong to him.
I chose these textures because they are simply the best quality, if you know better armor textures let me know.
Female and Male armors!
The first thing I determined for myself was that it was Dwemer, and not Dwarven, the next thing was that their weapons and armor were not gold, but industrial metal with the same shade. This became my goal.
I toned the color like gold in my previous Ebony Armor mod but lowered the saturation to 35% and applied a curve to make the contrast stronger. Now the armor looks more faded and not like a treasure because it's not gold. Also changed the color of the fabric.
The archive contains only textures without normal maps!
You can use the normal maps from the Oblivion Upscaled Textures (OUT) mod, but i recommend Really Textured Normal Maps - Updated.
Just drop it into the Data folder or Wrye Bash. If you are using Oblivion Upscaled Textures (OUT) set downloaded archive after/below in WB.
Elven Armor
Ebony Armor
Daedric Armor
Dark Brotherhood Armor

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community-approved with 294 endorsements and 39k downloads
- Covers the full Dwarven arsenal—armor, weapons, and shield in one go
- Simple cosmetic change that doesn't mess with stats or gameplay
⚠️ Cons
- Description is bare-bones—no preview images or detailed breakdown of the new colors
- Last updated in 2023, so it might not be compatible with the latest Skyrim updates or mods
- Only affects Dwarven gear—if you wanted other Dwemer items like tools or decorations, you're out of luck
For Skyrim players who love the Dwarven aesthetic but want a fresh coat of paint on their metal gear. Perfect for completionists who want every armor set to look unique. Skip if you're looking for gameplay changes—this is purely cosmetic.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Since it's a texture replacer, make sure to place it after any mods that alter Dwarven armor meshes in your load order.
- Use a mod manager like Vortex or MO2 to easily toggle this mod on and off without messing up your Data folder.
- Check the mod's posts tab for any user screenshots—the description lacks images, so the community might have shared some.
