📋 About This Mod
Introduction:
This is a tweaked version of my Fallout New Vegas ReShade preset made to work with Oblivion. I'm not using any weather or lighting overhauls.
Requirements:
- Reshade 4. 9. 1. You can probably use other versions, but this is the only one I've tested.
Other notes on my visuals:
If you're not using Oblivion's default HDR, you may not need any of this.
- HDR settings in Oblivion.ini (Recommended even if you don't use my ReShade!)
fBlurRadius=4. 0000
fBrightScale=1. 5000
- Candle Radius Changer (This and above ini tweaks fix blown out interior lights, even on vanilla game.)
- Oblivion Reloaded Lite v37 (Only using AA, memory management, skin, and water shaders.)
Installation:
-
[]Download Reshade 4. 9. 1 here and run the exe.
[
]Click on "Click here to select a game..."[]Select your Oblivion exe, and click okay.

[]Now check the boxes for these packages, then click okay:

Thanks!
Edit: Two or three of the screenshots might have had All Natural loaded when I took them, but I can't remember really.
CHIM ReShade is a performance-friendly ReShade preset for Skyrim, focusing on HDR balance, skin tones, and unified colors. With 82 endorsements and 2,039 downloads, it's a niche visual enhancement that aims to improve the game's look without heavy performance costs.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Performance-friendly design means you won't tank your FPS for prettier visuals
- Community-tested with 82 endorsements and over 2,000 downloads
- Targets HDR and skin tones, which are common pain points in Skyrim's default look
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2021, so it may not be compatible with the latest Skyrim versions or ReShade releases
- Niche appeal: if you're not into ReShade presets, this won't change your gameplay
For Skyrim players who want a subtle visual upgrade without sacrificing performance. If you're tired of washed-out colors or weird skin tones, this preset aims to fix that. Skip if you prefer heavy ENBs or don't use ReShade.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure you have ReShade installed first, then drop the preset file into your Skyrim directory
- Use the ReShade in-game overlay to tweak the preset's intensity to your liking
- Check if your Skyrim version is compatible with the ReShade version you're using, as older presets may need adjustments
