- --Overview---
- After I downloaded Xythen\'s fantastic Antiquated Map mod (which I highly recommend), I wanted some map icons to match the hand-drawn and worn out style of the map. There were one or two on the web but none were really to my liking, so I decided to make my own. I have tried to keep these icons as simple, easy-to-read, and good looking as possible, while giving the impression that they were drawn on by your character. This mod does not require an .esp file, but it will replace any previous map marker mods you may have installed. Just as a note, because someone is bound to ask, this does not change the in-game map background at all, it only changes the marker icons.
- New - I have updated the icons to be compatible with the Map Marker Overhaul by theNiceOne, which adds several new icon types and allows for labelling. The new icons won\'t work without MMO, which can be found at http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=26389 . If anyone would like to add screenshots of the new markers, feel free, as I don\'t use the MMO myself.

- 1. Extract the Textures folder from whichever color scheme you prefer into your \"Oblivion/Data\" directory
- 2. Enjoy!

- 1. Remove the files you extracted from your \"Oblivion/Data/Textures/Menus/Icons/Map/\", \"Oblivion/Data/Textures/Menus50/Icons/Map/\", and \"Oblivion/Data/Textures/Menus80/Icons/Map/\" directories
- --Compatibility---
- This should be compatible with anything besides another map marker replacer, which this will overwrite. (The exception is the MMO, which this is designed to work with.)
- --Troubleshooting---
- Q: The icons haven\'t changed, they\'re the same as they were before!
- A: Make sure you extracted your chosen Textures folder to the \"Oblivion/Data\" directory and not a subfolder within that directory.
- Q: The (insert color here) icons don\'t look good on my map. What gives?
- A: There\'s a reason I included 4 color choices, one of them is bound to work with your map. Try using a different color.
- Q: Where are all the new map marker types? All I see are the old ones!
- A: You need to download the Map Marker Overhaul for the new markers to work. Find the link in the description.
