Console command for benchmark activation: set BMKon to 1

Set it to "2" to activate all the features except "autopilot".

There are 203 points across almost all of Cyrodiil, and you will automatically fly from one to the next.

It is recommended to be near one of these points, because you will start flying from the nearest point. Ideally, be near the entrance to the sewers, where the game starts, because I’ve placed the first route point there. The approximate route can be seen in the image uploaded here. You can manually change stages (target points) with the console command "set BMKsetStage to X" (where "X" is any number in the range 0–202).

It is also recommended to use the console command "tdt". With it, you will see statistics about FPS and some other information in the console in real time, updating every frame.

If you have the OBSE plugin Pluggy installed, it will also write statistics for every point to a text file located at:

My Documents/My Games/Oblivion/Pluggy/User Files/benchmark/TKbenchmarkData.txt

In the .ini file that comes with the mod, you’ll find several settings:

• []Speed: Default is 200. This value is recommended, but you can try others.

  []Weather: You can set the weather to be always clear.

  []Purge Cell Buffers: Use only if you don’t already have another mod that purges buffers (e.g., Streamline or Purge Cell Buffers).

  []Time Control: There are four options:

  0. Disabled. The passage of time will not be affected.

  []Time freeze / never-ending day (timescale = 0).

  []Skip time to noon, then freeze.

  []Skip nights. During the day, time will pass at the standard speed (timescale = 30), but at night it will be 100 times faster. This is my preferred option.

  []Write in console: Set to 0 if you don’t want to see information in the console.

  []Write in file: Set to 0 if you don’t want to store data in a file.

  []Reverse: When set to 1, you will fly in the opposite direction. Not recommended, but you can try it anyway. You can also activate/deactivate this feature with the console command: set BMKsetReverse to 1 (or "to 0" to disable the reverse).

  []Close message popups: Automatically closes message popups (e.g., "New quest added," like A Door in Niben Bay) after 5 seconds while benchmarking.

  []Stutter Counter Mode: Three options are available:

  []Standard mode.

  []Sensitive mode. Don’t use if you don’t have Oblivion Display Tweaks and/or Oblivion Stutter Remover, otherwise you will get many false stutters on the counter. You specifically need the tick fix from either OSR or ODT; ODT does it better.
