NPC Vampire Eye Fix by Agesofb Introduction: I made this \"mod\" to fix the vampire eye texture problem I was having with npc vampires in Oblivion. I decided to make/uploaded this mod since I could not find another one like it. Note! If you play custom races that use the double eye textures (ren\'s mystic elves, cute elves, corean mod, and just about all the races based on these mods) using this fix may mess up your characters eyes when and only when you are a vampire! More about this problem at the end of this page. The problem (See included pictures): Certain race/character mods that I am running have changed the the vampire eye to a texture that does not map properly to the default eye mesh. This was noticed on vampire characters such as Janis Hasildor... and pretty much all vampire NPC in Oblivion. What this mod does: This \"mod\" changes the vampire race eye texture back to the default one which fixes eyes on npc vampires. Requires: Oblivion Mod Manager (may work without this, There are alternatives) Installation: 1. Unpack the file \"Vampire Eye Fix by Agesofb.rar\" anywhere you like. 2. Move the file \"Vampire Eye Fix by Agesofb.esp\" into your \"...\\Oblivion\\Data\" directory. 3. Turn this mod on in oblivion mod manager and move it down to the bottom of the load order list. \"Or just low enough so that it loads after all your race and character mods\". Uninstallation: Deactivate the \"Vampire Eye Fix by Agesofb.esp\" and delete it from your data folder if you want. Compatibility: When installed as above, this mod forces the vampire eye texture back to default just before the game is launched. Therefore, this mod is not compatible with any vampire eye replacement mods since it undoes the changes. This fix may also cause eye problems for custom races when they become a vampire. The Vampire Eye Problem in Oblivion Somewhat Explained: After talking with the authors of some of these mods it seems that this is a known issue that can not yet be resolved. This is because in oblivion all npc and vanilla races have there right and left eye the same color. Therefore, in the eye texture files, there is one large eye with one color and it is centered. The mentioned(in the notes) mods can have different right/left eye color and need to override the default vampire eye texture with one that is compatible with how the eyes are mapped for that race.
