📋 About This Mod
Orbital Update brought new Space Stations but also pushed very hard on smoke and light effects.
This mods will help to tone down these and exists in too variants :
Standard (focuses on removing player level effects, keeping environmental ones)
- Removes vertical white light from landing area
- Removes circling smoke around ships
- Removes big white glows around tunnel entry distance panels
- Removes raising smoke at each wall corner
- Removes haze from lights around landing pads
- Dim white mist around the orb
- Removes falling mist from the orb
- Removes low fog from ground and first floor
- New in 1. 2 : Removes mist from corvette pads
- New in 1. 4 : Removes ground mist from Nexus
Full (Removes all effects but the orb energy beam in Stations)
- the provided .lua file is commented to save you time and let you enable or disable each and every item to your tastes.
- I noticed that hemis FEAR had his own attempt at fixing these effects. This mod offers two distinct variants (the full variant being close to hemis FEAR mod) and cuts the effects sooner which prevents to load and compute both particles and ligth effects so you might save a few nanoseconds.
